TERMS & CONDITIONS Myron Bowling Auctioneers / Hilco Industrial / Maynards Industrial makes every attempt to accurately describe each item in the auction; however, it is possible that a mistake may occur. This is especially important to know if you plan on placing a Proxy Bid or if you plan to bid over the Internet (when available). Please inspect before you bid. Remember, everything will be sold “AS IS, WHERE IS” with absolutely no warranty or guarantee of any kind either written or implied. Occasionally, additional information regarding any and all items being sold, may come to light during the auction and take precedence.
PAYMENT & TAXES
All payments must be made by cash, Visa or MasterCard ($2,000 limit), cashier’s check, wire transfer or company check. Personal checks will not be accepted. Company check payable to Hilco Industrial will be accepted only if accompanied by a bank letter of guarantee (see sample here).
All bidders residing outside of the United States or Canada are required to submit via wire transfer a qualifying deposit of 25% of their total expected purchases. Deposit must be received and confirmed prior to start of auction, and can take up to 72 hours to clear. Please register at least 3 business days prior to sale to allow sufficient time to process deposit.
Goods will not be released until payment in full is received and bank wires have cleared.
Sales tax of 7% will apply to all sales. Download the New Jersey Sales Tax Summary.
REFUNDS No refunds or adjustments will be made once an item has been removed from the auction site. All refunds and adjustments are solely at the discretion of the auction company.
RIGGING & REMOVAL
- The removal deadline is October 5, 2012.
- Removal hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET Daily.
- No items released until payment is received in full (including sales tax if applicable).
- Buyers are responsible for removing all purchased lots from site by deadline. Buyers with items left on site after deadline are subject to fines of $500 per day.
- A buyer release form must be completed and supplied to Hilco personnel if someone other than the registered bidder is picking up auction purchases. They can be turned into Hilco personnel on site or faxed into the corporate office at 248-254-9995.
